They were the perfect height I was looking for as why I bought these over metal ones.. They look really nice. I live in a state where we have red clay soil and so it is best to place after a rain or watering. I am not sure how far down they are supposed to go in the ground. Can't say I love the result. Because I have to dump water from this mini pond I thought it may be easier than real rock (I'm 70), but these are heavy & I had to cut one down on back side. This is within my catio, this boy was born deaf. Also had to order two packs to get coverage, so have three more to place somewhere. I haven’t finished installing them yet, but the paving stones are very pretty. They’re a good size, have nice color variation across the pieces, and are nicely brightening up the side of my house. They arrived on a small, less than 2x3’ pallet that will be easy to dispose of, and the drivers were easy to contact, friendly, and right on time. 2 of 20 pieces were broken, but I consider some breakage normal whenever you’re shipping tile or stone.
