I like the design. For anyone that has books or dvd's it maybe hard for them to prop up alone without support. Only issues is the packers at the warehouse or manufacture packed it with scuffs in the black paint on multiple parts. I tried to hide them toward the back side. I would send it back for a replacement but Wayfair charges for shipping it back to the price of the item. The carriers beat up the package during transit for sure. Very Satisfied! Bookcase was precisely as listed. Attractive. Simple to build. Sturdy. Not easy to find a 44” wide bookcase this tall. Submitted a service ticket as one of delivery boxes was handled roughly during shipment. The manufacturer responded within 24 hours! Their response was excellent. Fortunately, the boxes contents were just fine. I put most of it together by myself, HOWEVER, two people are needed as you do your final assembly and setting unit in place.
