The desk looks lovely, but it is cheaply made. It requires 2 people to put together. Any wrong tilt or movement when attaching pieces together causes the finish to crack. Once we unboxed, we knew cracking would be a risk and laid pieces on soft flooring and took our time and still have several cracks. You have to be very careful. It takes HOURS to put together - very tedious. While we know that's the way of the world today, we expected it to be more durable. For the cost, quality and hassle, I would not purchase it again.. Great desk with a clean, modern look and plenty of workspace for remote work or writing. Assembly took about an hour.
