This was easy to assemble and came with clear instructions and all of the pieces in good condition. I love the size of it for a more relaxing, lounge experience outdoors instead of an outdoor couch. We ordered this day bed and we love it. We have dogs that like to get on our sofa and this one is a much better option. It is lower to the ground so keep that in mind if you’re buying it instead of a sofa. I also noticed many people in the reviews saying that the pillows provided won’t fit in the covers. I opened the pillow stuffing folded it in half and put it in the pillow covers and they seem to work perfectly (see picture of small gray pillows). I do think that the daybed needs more pillows so I added some green ones for a pop-up color that matches the other patio decor. I really love this, it’s perfect for our needs. I would’ve given them a five star instead of four but I agree with other reviews that it is difficult because some of the fasteners don’t lineup with the pre-imbedded fasteners. I'm giving 5 stars for Wayfair's customer service when things weren't right. the thought of sending this back made me frustrated knowing it would be a pain. So we set out to do our best. This product had issues from the beginning. Missing several holes for assembly. Luckily my hubby is handy and was able to drill the holes and we used other screws to assemply. It required lots of patience and muscle to put it together because things didn't line up exactly in several areas. Now that it is together it is very nice and strong. I contacted Wayfair Customer Service- used the chat explained my experience and they fairly compensated me whicih is what I was hoping for. The patio chaise was a pain to assemble (lots of pieces and not the best instructions). The slats that work as the side table and bed are not screwed on, they’re 3 big pieces that just sit in place. So be prepared to have 3 pieces come flying at you if you tilt it on its side to move the chaise. The slats on the bed part doesn’t align properly with the brackets that hold distribute the weight (not even close). The center of the bed part is unsupported (I wouldn’t plop on this thing) Also - one of the pieces came loosedamaged. I’m going to try and MacGyver this and cut 4in off the legs to have it sit lower. The patio chaise was a pain to assemble (lots of pieces and not the best instructions). The slats that work as the side table and bed are not screwed on, they’re 3 big pieces that just sit in place. So be prepared to have 3 pieces come flying at you if you tilt it on its side to move the chaise. The slats on the bed part doesn’t align properly with the brackets that hold distribute the weight (not even close). The center of the bed part is unsupported (I wouldn’t plop on this thing) Also - one of the pieces came loosedamaged. I’m going to try and MacGyver this and cut 4in off the legs to have it sit lower. I bought this as a platform for my bean bag chair. I wouldn’t be thrilled with the quality if I was using it as anything other than a platform.. Hnh. Beverly Hills, CA. Sun Jul 26 2026
