I bought this desk a few years ago & am just now reviewing. Fun fact - I am typing this review from this exact desk. It's looking a bit warn these days, a few scratches in the surface & one banged up spot on the drawer where I have a habit of spinning my chair into. But for a simple home office, it works great. A lot of leg and/or storage space beneath the desk, one drawer & one cabinet built in, comes a part in two big pieces to move it, etc.. Just as advertised. I was not expecting anything heavy duty. Everything was labeled VERY well and instructions were easy to follow (my only complaint was that in 2 sections it makes a point to say particular holes are “facing out”, but the illustration has them facing in). Fairly easy to build. I did it all on my own, took about 12hrs however I took several breaks and I was building 2 of these desks. I got this desk to update my daughters play area, as seen from pictures. You can't see the desk, but it's there. It's a good size, not too big and not too small and the colors are as described on the webpage. Assembly was normal for this type of desk. Drawers slide well and hold a decent amount of precious small things. I like how the shelves are accessible from both sides rather than having a back (see other pic). I did pick up the desk to move it and snapped the top part off....very jankily kept together, so if you move it...use two people and be mindful where you grab cus that top desk part will blow off in a mild sneezing fit. The build-out took me more time than I’d like to admit, but slow steady wins the race! (And keeps you from creating unwanted dents dings!). There are A LOT of screws on this piece!
