Summit Seems to be a nicely engineered product. This is the second appliance I have purchased of Summit Brand. I think it is so nice to be able to purchase a high quality item, made in USA, with high quality materials. The stove oven wraps the only 30 inch I found with glass top! I needed an additional option for cooking meals while my kitchen is being remodeled. I decided to try the induction cooker after testing the features I have used it for boiling water, frying breakfast foods, sautéing veggies and frying various meats. The nine power levels and ten temperature controls makes it easy to ensure consistency in preparing my meals. Happy with the induction plate so far. The only thing that is is missing is is an actual temp read out instead of pre programed selection of numbers from 1-9 where the default temp selection is 5.
