This is an amazing outdoor garbage can! We have a lake home and entertain often during the summer. As you can imagine we go through a LOT of garbage! The main problem we have had with previous garbage cans is they tend to tip over in high wind - which we have often. This will solve that problem. I wanted it located on our back porch where we entertain so once my adult son moved it there, I had no concerns about it being blown over. We have had several late summer storms and I do believe it is hurricane-proof. It has not moved a bit. It is attractive so I am happy about it being seen on our porch.
