I am a big guy weighing in at 350#. I go through a chair or two in the back yard aroung the swimming pool where I have a container garden. The hindges always seem to bend making the chair lend forward. I had concerns regarding this chair as it did not have hindges meaning when moving the chair it would not fold. Well, that is not a problem as the chair is light enough to move with ease. I like it. Assembly is a little less than straightforward (it does not come with any instructions, nor does it indicate what tools you will need -- nor, interestingly, are instructions available on the manufacturer's website) but I was able to figure it out on my second attempt. (For assembly, I discovered it was structurally critical that the entire base was assembled before attaching to the top.) I also think that it looks ever so slightly different than advertised. (Namely, the ad pictures of the Natural Finish top make it look like the top is constructed with pieces of wood that extend the full width of the table, but in fact it is made of smaller pieces of wood that are glued together, meaning there are seams going both ways i.e. seams perpendicular to each other. A small detail perhaps, but worth noting.) It also was packaged in what felt like an excessive amount of plastic wrap.
