I ordered the slate gray and they are definitely not gray if you're really looking for that color. They are a nice color of pale blue (see photos) and the sheets are soft and appear to be good quality. They had a strong odor upon opening the box but once washed they are fine. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room.
