The shades are self-trimmed with the matching print, and fully fabric lined. Soft-back lampshades offer a more diffused light than hard-back shades and have a flexible surface that will not dent. Each shade comes with a standard washer top in nickel finish and is handmade in the USA.

These lampshades are not only beautiful, but nicely made and easy to assemble. I put the 2 shades together in less than five minutes. They are linen and they are back by some heavy paper so they are rigid after you assemble them on the forms. There is a Velcro strip on the seam and small metal clips inside to attach the forms.
