Colored Glass Vases

1. Manufacturing Process Using traditional hand-blown technique + multi-layer color overlay gradient process: First, glass raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, etc.) are melted into glass liquid in a high-temperature furnace at approximately 1300℃-1450℃. Craftsmen dip an iron pipe into the glass liquid, blow to form a hollow blank, and at the same time, overlay glass liquid of different colors multiple times. They create gradient textures through manual rotation and shaping. The temperature for blowing and shaping is 800℃-1000℃. The annealing and cooling temperature is gradually reduced from 500℃ to room temperature. 2. Product Features 1: Uniqueness: Each vase has different gradient textures and bubble distributions, making it unique. 2: Gradient light and shadow effect: The color transition from amber gold to blue-green creates a dreamy light spot when light passes through. 3: Design: With a flower bud/wavy mouth shape and a plump body, it combines artistic sense with the stability for flower arrangement. It is suitable for home decoration, such as a decoration on the living room coffee table, entrance cabinet, or office desktop, and can be used for hydroponic fresh flowers or dried branches.

From the deep cold waters of the sea to the rocky sandy shorelines, the inspiration for the Baltic ruffled large vase was begun. The unique wavey style of this hand crafted glass vase gave us a perfect orm to create the colors and texture we saw in the sea. The textured base in it's beige color of the shore gives way to the rough white splashes as it eases into a calming blue. Overall the detailing of this vase raises its self to a new level of art glass.

Purchased this on a whim to use up some Wayfair reward credits, and because I'm a big fan of my other Kartell purchases. Otherwise would never have sprung for a vase at this price. My sober Quaker ancestors would cringe! But so glad I did. How is it possible to make a plastic vase that is so beautiful? No way it looks like plastic. So pretty I'm hesitant to use it.
