This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. Beautiful console but those hinges are hard to align. Setup was fairly easy until it got to the cabinet and hinge. I am still unable align them. So keep that in mind before assembling it yourself.
