I’m very happy with this set. I’ve been struggling to find a set this size without fabric on the seats of the chairs. My kids dirty the fabric so fast so I was thrilled when I found this set. My husband put it together with ease. The only feedback I had was on the vinyl floor protector underneath the chairs is a bit slippery on the floors but nothing that some rubber protectors over top can’t fix. I am very happy with this set. It took an evening to put together (3 hrs) by myself. I am a 69 yr old lady. The only thing I couldn't do by myself was flip the table upright. This is a very heavy, solid wood set. The finish is darker than the picture, which I am glad. Much more dark cherry/ mahogany color than the orangey tone on the website. I thought the chair seats were black but the seat part is a very deep brown. Looks black from afar. The assembly was easy and the directions were clear. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen.
