I am very happy with this set. It took an evening to put together (3 hrs) by myself. I am a 69 yr old lady. The only thing I couldn't do by myself was flip the table upright. This is a very heavy, solid wood set. The finish is darker than the picture, which I am glad. Much more dark cherry/ mahogany color than the orangey tone on the website. I thought the chair seats were black but the seat part is a very deep brown. Looks black from afar. The assembly was easy and the directions were clear. It is a very classic, substantial set that I would highly recommend. Looking forward to using it over the holidays.. Aja. Florida. Thu Sep 14 2023

This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. The “assembled” chairs were missing the wood screws in most chairs ( 20 in total). Wayfair is supposed to be sending them out…. Tamara. Melvin, MI. Mon Nov 24 2025

This table is built really well. The finish is nice and was delivered with no dings or scratches. Assembly was easy according to my husband. The mechanics of it all works well. Only time will tell how long everything last but I have a over all good felling about this table.. Marcy. Eureka Springs Ak. Mon Nov 21 2022
