Everything has been Meraviglioso!! The plate sets match my lava stone table that I bought in Italy and had shipped to me! Color was perfect, they feel sturdy. I read a few reviews that said they had some chipping of their plates. I have had stoneware before and I feel these should not easily chip unless of course they are dropped or not handled with care. I was looking for navy china and found this set. It has a lustrous floral pattern and the blue is intertwined with a light blue but not much-just enough to make it elegant looking. the bowls are nice size for cereal or salad ,soup.
