I do not have much experience with assembling furniture so I was not looking forward to putting this hall tree together. But it went together so much better than I had expected! The instructions were very clear and all of the pieces fit together perfectly. I put it together by myself in an afternoon. My husband only had to help with the joining of the back on to the bench, and then moving the hall tree to where we wanted it. It looks great. It is made of artificial wood, but seems very sturdy. Some of the hardware gets covered over with stick-on patches, that's the only negative. But you really don't notice them.. Beverly. Los Angeles, CA. Fri Oct 02 2026

Okay for the price. Assembly is long and instructions are tricky plus the top part wobbles quite a bit. The support beams just aren't that strong and I didn't want to bolt it to the wall.
