I purchased two of these storage units a few years ago, and they’ve been surprisingly versatile! We originally used both in our playroom to store kids’ toys. After moving last year and as the kids have gotten older, I repurposed one for our laundry room to store cleaning supplies, pool towels, and other household essentials. Since I still have a toddler, I added a childproof lock to keep cleaning products safely out of reach. There’s plenty of storage space, and we typically keep a small step stool on the bottom shelf as well. The second unit is in our basement and is used for miscellaneous household storage. I love that the shelves are adjustable, making it easy to customize the space for different items as our needs change. One thing to note is that we did encounter a few imperfections during assembly, so I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re planning a perfectly seamless, custom built-in look. However, for everyday storage, they’re attractive, functional, and hold a ton of stuff. I’ve been happy with how easily we’ve been able to repurpose them throughout our home over the years!. Mandy. I love this hall hat tree. It matches the color of our front door perfectly. I can’t wait to put it to good use and fill it.. Kathleen. Lebanon, TN. Thu Oct 15 2026

The Hall Tree Bench is simple, beautiful, and very functional. I didn’t buy it mainly to use as a bench; I bought it to have a convenient place for my bags, keys, and lunch bag, and it works perfectly for that. The shoe compartments are a little limited. They are fine for sandals or flatter shoes, but not really for heels because the space between each section is too small. I ended up using the second compartment for my tall lunch bag, which worked well, but you cannot fit much more in that area. The color matches what is shown on the website, and I’m planning to add a green plant later to bring in a little more color. I really love the look of it. One important thing to know: it comes in a BIG and HEAVY box. If you need room-of-choice delivery, I recommend arranging it directly with customer service instead of relying only on the website. I carried and assembled it by myself, but I definitely agree with the recommendation to have someone help you. Once I opened the box, the instruction guide, tools, and hardware were all included. The directions were easy to follow, and assembly was actually very simple. The hardest part was cleaning up all the protective foam and cardboard used to keep the pieces safe during shipping. I actually enjoyed putting it together with some good music and a beer. Everything is possible! I love this Hall Tree Bench. It is practical, attractive, and works perfectly for what I needed. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice.. Aliuscha. Hialeah, FL. Sun Oct 04 2026

This freestanding hall tree streamlines your entryway with plenty of storage and a classic coastal farmhouse look. It's made from engineered wood with a smooth finish in a neutral hue that goes with nearly any color scheme. We love that its five hooks make it easy to hang coats, scarves, and hats where you can grab them before heading outside. And the included bench has three open cubbies great for storage baskets and stacks of books. Plus, there are four smaller cubbies in a grid for four pairs of shoes. A wall anchor is included for additional stability.

Very nice product. Not to bad to put together. The plastic piece that goes into the drywall does not hold the screw in so its loose on one side. Thats the only bad part about it.. Miguel. Piedmont, SC. Wed Oct 21 2026

I purchased this for extra storage in our bedroom. I was especially pleased that the dimensions were exactly as described since I needed the shelves to fit specific items. The product fit the space perfectly, is well-constructed, and looks much more expensive than it was. One caveat is that it does take some time and patience to put the piece together. My husband is in the construction business and does a lot of woodworking projects as a hobby. Even so, it took the two of us almost three hours to assemble. The directions were well-written, but there are many parts and lots of hardware. However, the finished product was worth the effort.. Melissa. Fayetteville, AR. Thu Jun 04 2026
