Some openings may be visible, including larger knot holes, which are a normal and intentional part of reclaimed wood and not considered defects. The wood is left in its natural state and is not stained, allowing the true tones of the material to show through. Color will vary from piece to piece, ranging from lighter to deeper, richer hues depending on the boards used. Depth may vary slightly within approximately 9.25" to 10.25" due to the nature of reclaimed materials. Each table is made by hand and ships fully assembled. If you are looking for a perfectly uniform or filled surface, reclaimed wood may not be the right fit. The Eileen 62.2'' Modern Console Table arrived as promised and was easy to assemble. It took me about an hour to put together by myself, which I was really happy with.
