It has completely transformed her room into a cozy, magical space. The quality of the bed is impressive, and once assembled, it feels sturdy and well-made. Our daughter loves having her own little “house” to sleep and play in, and she couldn’t be happier with it. The only reason I didn’t give assembly a perfect score is that the instructions could have been much clearer. Putting it together was time-consuming and somewhat challenging because some of the directions were difficult to follow. Patience and an extra set of hands are definitely helpful during assembly. The bed arrives in 3 heavy boxes. The directions are not as clear as building LEGOs, but we were able to follow them. There are a lot of pieces, so it took quite a few hours to assemble. Some of the pieces were scuffed and slightly damaged upon arrival, but not bad enough that we wanted them to be replaced. The bed is large and heavy when it's completely done, so make sure you have it where you want it as you complete the last few steps. The light in the shelf is cool, but the controls to turn it on/off are kind of weird, and the instructions suggest putting it in a place that you can't reach once the bed is assembled, so that doesn't make any sense. My kids loved this. If you're looking for floor bed frames, this is great. The bunk above is the perfect height. It definitely does take two people to assemble, so keep that mind, but it's worth it. The only thing I wish could have been better is the "windows" It's just canvas fabric. If it was solid wood or plastic would give it more a polish look. I'd still recommend though, fantastic deal..
