It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. I absolutely love how my closet turned out. You definitely need two people to lift the top section into place. I built all of the units by myself, but needed my husband to help me lift the units into place. Definitely not a one person job because of the lifting and the boxes are incredibly heavy.
