I am finding that they do not want to stick completely to my clean older windows, however that may be a user issue since I did not have a water bottle to spray them and instead used a wet rag to wet the surface. Its very good material and goes on and removes easily. You need the sharpest newest razor blade to cut it properly. The lines on the backing are great. This will not let one iota of light through the window. Its very important you cut it so it lays as close as possible to the edges of the window.
