Let me start by saying that I love Wayfair for its great products and excellent customer service. I recently ordered a must-have, a tempered glass cutting board. The ones I found were either too big or too small and expensive. I found one that was just the right price, but the only problem is it had two and a half by 1-inch black L-shaped bumpers. I didnt care for the way it looked, and it definitely wouldnt suit the decor in my kitchen, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway because I read a review where someone said it arrived and one of them had come loose. So, I thought thats what I would do when I received the merchandise - I would remove the bumpers. I did, and I added some 1-inch clear bumpers. I love it! This is pretty if you are looking for a sanitary alternative to a wood cutting board that get a tattered surface from knife marks-- you need to treat wood cutting boards to regular disenfwctant and mineral oil. Not so with glass. This is heavy so you need to be careful to not break it. The surface is finely screened so I am not going to use my expensive knives on this. What do I use it for? So far nothing really. I could make sandwiches on them if a dinner knife is all that is needed, but honestly, I just make sandwiches on plates then serve. So far I have been using these boards and other form the manufacture. The smaller boards I ordered from the company directly had an off gas these did not. So I am guessing they have fully cured. I bought these to try and stay away form plastics. It is always a question if the resin has any plastic in it which is hard to understand. That all said the boards are nice.
