We love this vinyl carpet protector for our stairs. It looks very nice, is non-slip and confirms easily to the stairs and stays in place with a minimal number of staples. I had a very hard time finding vinyl stair protector runners. Others were dangerously slippery and did not stay on the stairs even with lots of staples and nails. Made of thick PVC. Offer a protection solution for hard floors. Protect flooring against harsh scuffs and scratches caused by the desk chair. Clear design will complement any decor of your home or office. Dull polish makes the scuffing less visible. A smooth surface allows your desk chair to glide easily over the mat. This mat is smooth on one side and grinding on the other. When your floor is smooth, please use the grinding side facing down. If your floor has texture, please use the smooth side facing down. Because of long-term transportation and weather changes, the mat is irregular when it is just taken out. Please iron it with boiled water, and then put the mat down and press it with heavy objects for 3-5 days.
