Hand-painted Talavera tile in a washed terracotta glaze with a glossy finish. All of our Mexican tiles have an off-white background. Ideal as a kitchen backsplash accent, bathroom detail, or framing element. Because each tile is made by hand, slight variations in color and finish are normal and part of its character. DISCLAIMER:All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. It is not suitable for inside pools as the chemicals involved on water cleaning will destroy the clay. Because this item is handmade, slight variations in size may occur. Dimensions typically range from 6" to 6.25".

The Metrola collection showcases a serene spectrum of muted tones, from gentle creams and soft grays to concrete hues and deep black accents. Whether laid horizontally, vertically, or in an eye-catching herringbone pattern, they refresh backsplashes, shower surrounds, fireplace facades, and more with subtle sophistication. Combining durable craftsmanship with easy upkeep, this ceramic subway tile offers a timeless, versatile solution for both residential and commercial spaces.
