Black Clay, Chamba Pottery are not only for serving, but also for cooking over direct heat or in the oven. These Round Sauté Pans are 12 inches in length including the handle, 10 inches wide, and hold 48 oz. They can be used to sauté and are great for making and serving sizzling dishes such fajitas. Its dramatic black color makes for a great presentation. Completely natural and safe, contains no toxins or lead and the porous nature of the clay allows the slow evaporation of steam and produce food that is healthier, tastier, and moist using less fat and liquids. Will last many years with proper use and care (each piece comes with a product information sheet outlining the Uses and Care for the product). Perfect for slow cooking soups, stews, and casseroles, and serve in the table for a great presentation. Black Clay, Chamba Cookware, is well-known and used throughout Colombia in restaurants and homes for preparing and serving traditional dishes. Its origins can be traced back at least 700 years to vases and pitchers found in pre-Columbian archaeological sites. It is still made in the traditional manner, by families in a small village on the banks of the Magdalena River in Central Colombia. Each piece is hand-made using local area clays, then hand burnished with a stone. The pieces are then fired in the village, giving them the distinctive black color and elegant look.

The Mexican Unlidded Clay Cazuela - Large Terracotta is handcrafted in Mexico and hand decorated with a lead free glaze. It measures 13 inches in diameter and perfect for making mole and other casserole style dishes. Can be used on a stovetop both gas or electric, oven or microwave, and of course over direct flames for adding great smoky taste. Unlike other Mexican Cazuelas, ours are glazed inside and out making cleanup a breeze.

More than I can ask for, I looked for many years even in Mexico to buy this type of cookware but I was without a luck , until finally I got them, this one I can actually cook not only having them for decoration. I love it. Anonymous. Fri Aug 22 2025

The Flat Casserole is perfect for the slow cooking of stews and casseroles, but due to its low profile, perfect for rice and seafood stews such as Paella. Length 16 (including handles), Width 13.25, Height 5, Diameter 11.5 and Capacity 4qt (filled comfortably without overflowing). Well suited for gas or electric ranges, and perfect for placing in an oven for finishing those rice dishes slowly. Since clay is a natural and porous material, it does not react with the food and causes a slow evaporation of steam from the pores. The moist enclosed interior results in food that is healthier and tastier as it requires less fat and liquids. The beautiful exterior finish makes for a great presentation for family style service. In the semi-desert region of Hidalgo, Mexico, our cazuelas are made by hand by artisans whose craft has been handed down for several generations.

This Lidded Cazuela is great for making soups, stews, and other casserole-style dishes, and it’s because of its beautiful glazed finish, it can be taken directly to the table to make a dramatic presentation. Length 10.5 (handles included), Width 8.5 (from outside), Height 5.0, Diameter 8.5 and Capacity 1.25qt (filled comfortably without overflowing). Will last many years with proper use and care (each piece comes with a product information sheet outlining the Uses and Care for the product). As with other clay cookware, the flavor of the food cooked in it actually improves with use.

Safe coating: Enamel is a glass-like coating applied to metal that fuses at high temperatures to form a durable, smooth surface. This material is free from harmful chemicals, unlike the majority of modern alternatives with unverified compositions. Enamel coating does not interact with the food or alter its flavor, making it the perfect choice for healthy cooking. Its proven safety makes enamelware a reliable and wholesome alternative to the vastness of uncertain options available today. Hypoallergenic and eco-friendly. PFOA-free. PTFE-free. Crafted for longevity, the pot is made of thick 0.7mm aluminum and covered with high-quality enamel. Don't heat an empty stock pot, and do not cool it abruptly so that the enamel does not crack or change color, and the pot will serve you for many years.

Very nice. Christina. Yonkers, NY. Wed Sep 09 2026

Craft wholesome, flavorful family meals with our Natural Clay Dutch Oven. It works on gas, electric stovetops and in ovens. The natural clay delivers balanced heat retention, while its micro-porous texture circulates steam to lock in moisture and deepen flavors for stews, braises, roasts and grains.

This clay pot is big enough for a family of 3 to 4 people depending on what your making. It is made of Natural clay and it has good depth for stews. The lid feels more ceramic to me..but the pot is clay. It brings in the instructions on how to use and care for it. I chise the brown and it is a nice light neutral brown color. I won't put it to Joe u til the Holidays..but overall it seems it will hold up well.. Sandra. Round Lake, IL. Wed Oct 07 2026

Cooking and serving hot dishes with stoneware is tasty, healthy, and unusual.Temperature range – The stoneware is only suitable for use in the oven. Withstands temperature from -68 °F to 842 °F (-20 °C to +450 °C). Food does not burn in it, as the stoneware has a thick layer.Thermoregulation – The stoneware has a unique ability to absorb and release moisture and, at the same time, to self-regulate the level of humidity and temperature. The products, cooked in stoneware, are especially tasty and healthy due to the correct temperature regime.CARE:Avoid significant temperature changes. We recommend placing the product in a cold or warm oven (not hot). With a sharp temperature drop, the dishes can crack.Soak in cold water for 10-15 minutes before each use. Before use, we recommend that you wash the product. Hand wash with warm water, add some baking soda or use a regular sponge with soap. Leave to air dry; do not wipe.Dry the dishes without a lid. Store the stoneware in a dry place.
