The sofa is lovely and also comfortable. My reduction of a star is due to delivery issues. I needed advance notice of delivery for very good reasons which were explained in advance. My delivery window was changed to accommodate me. I was assured there would be a 30-45 minute advance call which we had to have. There was a map of the delivery truck’s location on the website which I followed. Once the truck had been 20 miles away for an extended time and the end of the delivery period was approaching, I went over to the delivery address some 5 minutes away. I arrived to find the deliverymen putting together the sofa in the parking area. The deliverymen just laughed when I said I hadn’t gotten a call. They said they’d been told not to call on deliveries. The sofa assembled quickly, although two holes that were supposed to be pre-drilled for the back legs weren't there. In addition to bolts, the back legs have wooden dowels, meant to properly align the rear legs so they face the correct direction. Because the holes weren't drilled, I had to remove the dowel from each leg. The bigger issue is that the seatback cushions didn't fit into the cover, because the cushions are much too large. I even had neighbors come over to help me with it, but they just don't fit. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Wayfair after they contact Modway to have the appropriate sized back cushions sent to me. Otherwise, it's a beautiful sofa. A bit firm to sit on, but that should lessen over time. But frankly, I'm disappointed with Modway due to the issues. I'd considered them one of the better self-assemble furniture companies.. Randy. Overall, I really like this couch! It’s a great size for my condo without taking up too much space, and I love the flexibility of the two ottomans. You can use them to create one long chaise or two smaller chaises on either end, which is great when you have guests over. My only reason for giving it four stars is the back cushions. Everything arrived compressed and puffed up nicely after opening, but the back cushions stayed much thinner than I expected. The couch is also a little shallower than my previous one, so when it’s placed directly against the wall, it feels more upright than lounge-y. I’ll probably add a narrow console table behind it to give a little more room to lean back comfortably. Otherwise, I’m really happy with it and think it’s a great couch for a smaller space!. Chelsi. This is a lovely mid century modern couch. It arrived very well packaged but did have a small scuff on the back of one of the cushions. It was hard to out together with two people. The directions say to put the arm on, then the back but either way was hard. Once they were together it slides together to lock and the feet go on.
