Decent piece, but arrived with several scratches and dings. It's almost impossible to get through to customer service lately, and when you do, they are having "technical issues" so you need to call back later. Not worth the hassle of trying to return. Regardless, the first few steps are a big tricky to get through because the directions are less than clear. My advice is to put each sections together and attach, versus trying to build from the bottom up. It spins nicely, even on carpet and with a bit of weight from books and decorations. Overall I'm pleased, just wish I didn't have to hide the dings and that the screw heads were less obvious- you can can see one on every section of shelf.. Stacey. US. Tue Mar 03 2026

I personally don’t think it was super difficult to build but it definitely is slightly annoying trying to align the holes when stacking things and the instructions for the bottom cabinet were not clear and it was a struggle to make sure the 4 walls were lined up properly. I’d be careful with the screws to use when installing the rotating piece, I accidentally used the screws meant for the wheels. Use the flat head screws for the rotating bar and the silver screws for the wheels, I don’t think I had enough of them. The color is a deep brown wood and it rolls around quite easily. The bookshelf rotates without a problem currently, I don’t have many books yet but I think it’s a good speed that it won’t cause books/objects to fly off. I would definitely recommend a drill and when screwing things in, align one hole, screw it in like 70-80% of the way and then adjust the opposite end and do the same and align the other sides to make sure you get the nails centered otherwise you’ll risk breaking the mdf board. The parts were surprisingly dusty, and it was in between layers within the box so it was definitely there before it was packaged. Not the end of the world, but it was a lot of pieces to wipe down as I assembled. It also seems like it wouldn't have cut into profits too much to put the screws in two separate bags so I didn't have to dump them all out to find the 10 small ones for the rotating base hardware. Also, the instructions were terrifying until I realized it was just the same thing over and over - then they felt redundant. The sticker labels leave some residue, but they were placed in areas where other pieces would overlap, so it's not a big deal. We really like this shelf. We are using it for DVD/Blue ray storage and it works really nicely. The assembly instructions were a bit challenging to follow but we figured it out. It’s pretty sturdy. My only feedback is that the color lists walnut and the photo looks like walnut. However, the color is leaning more like Cherry wood vs walnut. Instructions are a farce and nearly impossible to read, thanks to tiny typeface. The base seems ok.
