I am so freaking happy about the quality of this chair. Online purchases are such a risk, for quality and comfort. But this chair nails it on both. I sink right into it in the best way possible. With all of the unfortunate Covid shut downs over the last year or so, I was hesitant to order online furniture. I imagined mice cozying up underneath all the furniture left in all the dark, cold warehouses. But I needed furniture, so ordered this set of the sofa, love seat, and chair-and-a-half because they were 1) made to order, and 2) big. These arrived about eight weeks after I placed my order, well before the 12 to 16 week estimated delivery. I needed a set for a room with slightly green toned walls, and beige carpeting. These have an amazing combination of colors running through the upholstery so that they could probably go with any color combinations you could throw at them. As you can see in the pictures, they have light brown, a dove gray, and cream colored yarns, along with a slightly green yarn. I couldn’t be happier with how they look in my room. The cushions are very deep, and very comfortable. They have become the favorite spot for my whole family! The only negative thing that I could say about the set is that the pillows and back cushions are not lined inside, meaning that if you unzip them, you can pull the stuffing out by handfuls. As you can see, I did not use the original pillows but added my own. I plan to make linings for the stuffing for the pillows and cushions. I did not think that this was worth deducting a whole star though, because overall I am so pleased with this set. Icing on the cake, I was so excited upon opening the packaging around this furniture, to discover a fresh, delightful scent of freshly sawn wood. Everything arrived in great condition. I purchased the chair in the Drusky Charcoal Sustain Basketweave fabric so it would last a long time. The color is fairly bland, so I have a colorful blanket thrown over the top pillow. I also plan to change out the pillow cover with something else as well. This chair is huge! I did all the measurements and was still surprised at it's size compared to the very large recliner I have sitting next to it! It's immediately comfortable, no need to break it in first. You have plenty of room to sit sideways or cross-legged. My large dog would love to take it over as his personal bed. I have a small ottoman/pouf that I can put in front of it for extra comfort as well. The side arms are tall enough that with the pillow you can lean against it to watch TV. My daughter lays with her legs hanging over the edge of the arm. For our small living room it fills adds another comfy option for seating against a wall where you might otherwise put a side chair.. This oversized chair was the perfect size for my alcove and the color is nice and neutral. The one bracket was a little bent but fixed easily with a mallet. Some of the cushions were packed inside the back part of the chair and were hard to pull out. A screw needed to be removed before pulling the cushions otherwise it wouldve torn the fabric pulling it out. I wish there was a fabric flap that could be attached to cover up the space where the cushions were packed because I imagine dirt and debris are going to get caught up inside.
