Did have to modify the wall anchoring given the brick wall anchors that are provided. The front panel has more space between the shelving on one side (everything reads level, and the bottom of the front panel has even spacing). I did notice other review photos have the same problem. The wood pattern was just as shown. Received four damaged pieces, (we had to build the bed with the damaged pieces due to company coming) and then take apart to replace damaged pieces. Customer service was efficient. After filling out the damaged item request, replacements arrived quickly with out hassle. The back panels vibrated when moving around on the bed. The finished Murphy bed looks great, but getting there was a FRUSTRATING experience. My dad and I spent nearly three full days assembling it, and honestly, finding and organizing all of the parts across five separate boxes took almost as much time as the actual build. Several pieces were mislabeled in both the instructions and on the part stickers, which made assembly more difficult than it should have been. After completing the build, we discovered that one of the bracket bolts for the shocks was stripped, and we spent over an hour trying to fix it before contacting customer service. They’re sending a replacement part, but that means I’ll have to partially disassemble the bed after already finishing it. The drawers have also been problematic. The brackets came pre-installed, but they weren’t positioned correctly, causing the drawers to misalign and fall off the tracks. I had to remove and reposition the drawer slides myself, and even then the issue hasn’t been completely resolved. I was also disappointed that the bed only came with a chain lock to secure the door in the upright position, which didn’t seem very reliable, so we purchased our own hardware instead. Additionally, no hardware was provided to help keep the mattress in place when the bed is closed, requiring another extra purchase. At this point, returning the bed isn’t really an option since it’s already assembled and anchored to the wall, and taking it apart would be far too much work. Overall, the bed looks beautiful and functions as intended, but the quality control on the parts, hardware, measurements, and included components leaves a lot to be desired. Overall this is a nice piece of furniture. I'm taking off one star because several of the parts were not labeled and others were not labeled well. In addition, the directions were lacking detail on vital orientation of panels and boards and while the videos of each step provide through QR code were somewhat helpful, they were zoomed out and did not provide the level of detail necessary. This added several hours to the overall installation process as I had to backtrack several times and disassemble. Overall build time was 10-11 hours primarily with one person (directions say some steps require 4 people). 2-3 hours of that time was fixing previous mistakes/missteps. Special note on putting on the pistons on the murphy bed - you have to have the bedframe assembled and in the closed position and access it from the back for it to line up with the bolts (this was not mentioned in directions and couldn't be seen in the video).
