Update after a year the wood filler that was slapped over the knots at the factory has begun to seriously crack. I’ve put more wood filler in but unfortunately it’s not holding together. There are now large cracks developing all over, the crack in the arm has worsened to the point I think it’s going to affect the stability shortly. So I guess I spent 1200 for something that only held together for a year. Too bad, it was cute while it lasted. Original review This worked out great for our space. The wood quality is overall pretty good, there are a few knotty spots that were obviously filled in at the factory, and one of the arms has a crack in it, but it’s not a deal breaker. I don’t think it’s “solid” wood as it’s listed but it worked for my kitchen nook, when I purchased two and pushed them together. My daughter put them together in about an hour.
