loved this bench, HOWEVER, by looking at the picture, we thought it was a shade of white. It is a shade of green. The color was listed as Stone/Hickory. Will be returning. UPDATE: instead of returning, I ordered some of that Heirloom paint and painted it the color that I needed. It came out perfect and it is now exactly what I wanted. I really wanted a bench for a good place to sit kids if I need to, but I was pleasantly surprised to have it easily seat 3 average- sized adults! My husband, adult daughter, and teenage son all sat on this comfortably for dinner. It is a true white color, as you can see from my photo against my antique white table legs and walls. Having a back makes bench seating so much more comfortable and this one is the perfect height to fit under my service window. We thought it looked too bulky in our space at first, but it has really grown on us! I haven’t decided if I’ll paint it antique white to match the surroundings. I took off one star because one of the sides came with a misaligned hole! Thankfully, my husband it handy and measured and drilled a hole in the correct spot. The main structure of this bench is made of solid wood and iron. The bottom is added with H-shaped support shelves to increase stability. We like the craft flowers on the backrest and the solid wood legs in the style of Roman columns. This makes this bench both practical and decorative.
