The Cedar Arbor is crafted from sustainably sourced FSC cedar and treated with a warm, distinctive, and environmentally friendly water-based stain. Tools Required: Cordless Drill, Level, Stool/short Ladder, Shovel, Cement for permanent in-ground installation Approx. Time Commitment: 2 people, 3-4 hours.

This arbor is perfect. All the holes and notches were in the right places for assembly, the whole thing is square, sturdy, and level, the cedar is beautiful, the instructions were clear. I could not be happier. It took about 4 hours to assemble for two people, including digging the post holes and filling with quickset concrete. You will definitely need a second person and a ladder; it's lightweight, but too large to maneuver on your own. We used bricks to prop it up while we did the concrete and then tied a rope over the top for a few hours to counteract any wind. Worked like a charm.. Kristin. Phoenixville, PA. Thu Oct 15 2026

It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip.
