Love it at my front door! It is much thicker at one end than the other. Both ends are folded under and then tucked to end the rug and prevent unraveling but on one end the jute is much thicker and that end wont lay flat. I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great.
