This nutcracker looks nice and works fine as a seasonal decoration. It’s okay overall and has a festive look that works well indoors. A few things to know before you buy it’s very light, and I thought it would be a little taller. The battery compartment on the bottom is held on with six screws, which feels like overkill just to change batteries. I’m also not sure how well it would hold up outdoors. Because it’s so light and the battery area is on the bottom, I worry water could get in if it rains. Fine for indoor use or a covered porch if you don’t mind the size and weight. Four stars.. Love it. The only thing you have to do is add a stake behind it to keep him up.. Ashley. Charleston, SC. Wed Dec 09 2020
