It’s probably not healthy to be obsessed with lamp shades, but here we are. I love these shades. They are quite nice in person with finished edges. I originally bought one shade and intended to use it on a table lamp, but it didn’t look quite right. I hated the stock shades that came with my wall lights and decided to try this shade on one of them. It was perfect. The shades then went out of stock, but I waited patiently and was rewarded. This charming little shade comes with a big punch of personality. Each side shows a cozy little scene in watercolors of the 4 seasons. There is also a sweet little comforting sentence of each season. I love the soft mint piping rounding the top and bottom. It is definitely sturdy and will not crush or cave in if it is knocked over accidentally. This is the type of shade that sits on top of the bulb.
