Ordered these corbels to hold up a shelf in a small bar area of our shore house. The floating shelf was used to hold wine glasses, and bottles of liquor and continually tilted forward in the due to the weight of the products on top. Excellent quality! Nicely milled solid cedar rough sewn corbels. Smells wonderful! 12x4x12. We attached flush French cleats to hang a sycamore board with a live edge for a nice display shelf in our dining room. I purchased and returned several corbels before I found these to use in my kitchen above my stove. I was eyeing more elaborate ones, but the style did not match the look. I have 4 of these! They are solid and well built. The paint is kind of a chalky black so I wiped it off and gave it 2 coats of satin spray sealer. The edges are antiquedsanded down to give it some depth although you can’t see that from where they were placed on the front my house. Packaged 2 per box, each wrapped in bubble wrap. Beautiful! I put them in a doorway in my apartment. I mounted them with Command strips. I did have to put a smear of E6000 glue on the spot where the strips went and let that dry first as the edges that go against the wall are a little porous and the strips wouldn’t stick. Really good variety for sizes, and I feel that this design is classic and understated. The construction of this product could be way better though. It is difficult to put a hollow corbel - and most of the are for decorative use, not going over a supporting wooden beam or anything. It would be nice to have at least some backing. Also, there are noticeable (but tiny) cracks between some of the layers on the front of some product, not all. We used two of these corbels to help support a heavy slab of wood for a breakfast bar.
