Very happy with these- I was replacing some adjustable height stools (one had quit being adjustable) and wanted swivel but without adjustable feature. I liked the look of these and seat height was exactly where the adjustable ones usually “lived”. They feel very sturdy and the seat is ample width and thick firm padding. They are lower profile too so don’t block sight line of counter (upper back sits right at counter level). I think it will be a good height for grandkids too. I love the fabric on these stools. They haven’t had a stain on them yet, but plan to put scotchguard on them since they will be used a lot in the kitchen. My husband put them together fairly easy. He did use his drill instead of the Allen wrench it comes with. (Just his preference) The cushion is very thick and comfortable, perfect for people with back problems. Shipped very fast.
