Inspired by Scalamandre's iconic pattern "Chinoise Exotique", our narrow jar depicts the stylized tableau of blossoms, vines, figures, and animals. Accented with a square bamboo brass finial. Tall at 20" in height, and a depth of 6"--it is perfect as a pair of the mantle or on-shelf brackets. Holds water for fresh flowers. Coordinates with the "Chinoise Exotique" lamp with either a square tapered shade or hardback round lizard skin shade options.

The highly coveted floral pattern has adorned homes since the 18th century. Inspired by Asian plants and Indian textiles, the pattern features hibiscus and pomegrante motifs. Collectors commonly refer to it as the "tobacco leaf" pattern, and it was a fashionable import as fine china. This pattern was the most highly valued of all the dinnerware patterns of the 18th century.

This item is beautiful. I collect tobacco leaf and this ginger jar does not disappoint. Item came in safely packaged with no issues. It did take a little longer than expected to receive but nothing exaggerated. Blanca. Rio Grande City, TX. Fri Jan 23 2026

Classic blue and white porcelain crafted from traditional methods with a rich history from the same lineage as many Chinese porcelain pieces shown in museums. Hand-painted with rich blue glaze fired in one of the highest temperature firing processes resulted in heavy, top-quality porcelain pieces. Blue and white porcelain enhances any room with classic elegance. This top-quality porcelain piece is a lasting piece to be treasured.

Poorly made. There were Cracks where the handles meet the bowl, color variations, and the tureen was very dirty. Sent one tureen back for a replacement. The same issues were there on the replacement but to a lesser degree, cracks at the handle bowl interface and color variations and places where there was no blue color where it should have been. It is NOT a fine piece of porcelain. Wonder where is the quality control of the manufacturer and seller? The piece is not worth the money and maybe not even worth half the price.. Alice. PA. Tired of heading to the pantry for flour and sugar? Keep your go-to dry ingredients on the counter with this display-worthy three-piece kitchen canister set! Crafted of porcelain in a stunning blue and white chinoiserie motif, each canister strikes a simple cylindrical silhouette with a round, handled lid. Including one large (2.25 qt.), one medium (1.19 qt.), and one small (0.75 qt.) canister, this set should be hand-washed and air-dried when needed for fuss-free upkeep.

Nice! But not for those want larger canisters, for example, for flour. Unfortunately, the plastic insert designed to keep the lids airtight bunched together on one lid and it doesn’t sit right on the canister.. Laura. KS. Sat Oct 17 2026
