This table is absolutely darling. Its more of a baby Blue in person. The reason I gave it four stars, exactly as other reviews have stated, it does have an atrocious odor. I intentionally opened it outside, prepared for the stench if the reviews I read were accurate. They were in fact accurate. The smell, I dont know what it is but its awful. I am in the midst of moving so I have the opportunity to let it air out before I bring it into the home. And theres no way around it, it must air out. As others have also mentioned, it does arrive a bit dingy and needs a good wipe down. It will air out, and the smell will dissipate. I would purchase it again but with the intention of knowing I do not want to open this in my house. I opened it outside my front door where it was dropped off, afterwards I went outside to my back, 20 minutes later when I walked in I could smell the smell just from me opening the box and walking inside. This is a reproduction of the classical Chinese Kang table from the Ming dynasty. The recessed waist and curvilinear apron carved with scrolling tendrils are mitered, mortised, tenoned, and half-lapped to the legs. These elegantly shaped cabriole legs end in outwardly directed hoofed feet. This is a vintage table with some minor touchups.

This coffee table is made-to-order in the Leighton Hall shop. It features a field of crotch mahogany with a solid mahogany ogee-shaped edge. It has a hand-rubbed and polished semi-gloss finish. This product had one inserted bolt thread missing in one of the legs so I was only able to use one bolt versus the required two bolts for the table leg. I will be reaching out to see how this will be fixed. Overall, the delivery was stellar, the packages arrived well intact and well secured. It was very easy to assemble to legs to the table top with bolts and Allen wrench provided within the package along with instructions. The product is beautifully built, sturdy, due to th solid mahogany decroratice carved wood frame and th exquisite solid marble top with will require at least two people to lift into place once assembled but it is well worth the price, style, size and design is extremely well made.
