Chinese Chair

This pair of armchairs was retrieved from Shanxi province located in Northwest China with a rich culture and history. The back splat of this antique armchair is carved with dear and decorative symbols. The restoration is intentionally kept to a minimum. The well-aged original finish leaves a beautiful patina all over this pair of armchairs. What better way to impress than to place a pair of those imposing pieces in a living room, dining room, or hallway?

Belle of the ball. The contemporary lines of this armchair pay the ultimate homage to the classic French Bergere. Gently curved arms crafted with rattan and rawhide lacing sit atop ebony mahogany legs that support its ample white cotton cushion.

After sitting once, you don't want to change anything else.
