I had been shopping for the perfect piece for this space to turn into a coffee hutch. Finally found this one. If I could go back I would’ve purchased the black one because the color did not match the photo exactly for the walnut. It’s more cherry in person. But I don’t hate it. This cabinet looks SO much more expensive than it is. That is a true wow factor. The wood tone is rich and warm, the textured detailing on the drawers gives it such a designer feel, and the smoked glass doors add the perfect modern touch. It instantly elevated my space and feels like something you’d find in a boutique hotel or high-end furniture showroom. I did not use it for a dining room it will be in my Living room for books, decor items and liquor but I can truly say it could be for any space. It would be amazing for handbag storage in a bedroom. I especially love the mix of mid-century and modern styling the gold hardware and legs are subtle but really pull the whole look together beautifully. It’s narrow enough for smaller spaces and apartments while still offering a surprising amount of storage. The drawers are really deep. Assembly definitely took some patience and almost 2 hours especially aligning the doors evenly, but once everything was together it felt sturdy and looked incredible. This 70.9" H China Cabinet combines elegant craftsmanship with practical storage in a space-saving design. On the surface, this china cabinet is beautiful. The color is exactly what I was hoping for, and once it’s fully put together, it has a really nice look. The quality is not top tier, but it’s not bad either for the price point. That said, my biggest issue has been the assembly and the lack of support from the manufacturer. Assembly was a bear. It took me about six hours to complete, and there are what feels like 70 screws and nails just for the back panel alone. It’s definitely not a quick or easy project. The biggest problem came at the final step when assembling the pullout drawers. The nails did not align with the pre-drilled holes in the drawers, which made it impossible to complete properly. I reached out to the manufacturer for replacements, and it has now been over 30 days without a resolution. Because of that, I cannot fully complete the cabinet or give a final assessment yet. I also had some difficulty getting the cabinet doors to line up correctly, which added to the frustration. But it was a matter of adjusting the hinge screws (had to Google that to figure out the problem) Overall, the piece has great potential and looks nice, but the assembly process and lack of manufacturer support have been disappointing. I will gladly update this review once I receive the replacement parts and can finish putting everything together. UPDATE all parts have been received and assembled and it looks great.. Kamilah.
