CRAZY AMAZING! This is such a high-quality stainless steel range hood, and what great convenience that is convertible! You have you ever been in the situation where you bought the wrong appliance, it’s all unboxed and you’re installing it and realize oh darn! The pieces are extremely heavy and will require two people to mount that that’s pretty common with any very good range hood. Definitely stainless steel quality, the craftsmanship is sleek and modern. All parts are included as pictured. They added a nice touch of some oven mitts in brand new potholders that they cleverly used isn’t insulation in the box. There are only one drawback to this product that is that the vent is black plastic, it may not affect any performance, but that’s something I wish was that are quality material. However, I’m not familiar with other range hoods so I’m not sure if that is common or not. Adds a real statement to our kitchen, we are still waiting for our installer, but have mock fitted it into place and it’s just a huge wow. Beautiful item and it runs fabulous. This is a beautiful, sleek looking range hood. It has great features and is very well made. The convertible option is huge for those of us who don't currently have a vented hood. It is heavy but installation looks like it will be straight forward. My installation is delayed since I have to remove cabinets over the stove, find the backsplash tiles that current end at the bottom of the cabinet and continue it up before installing the hood. This is such a nice range hood. I love the sleek, upscale design. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a touch panel, a remote, timer, and LED lights. The fan has 4 speeds, and although it’s not loud, it’s also not quiet. I had mine professionally installed. Per the installer, it wasn’t difficult to install. This will suit our purposes just fine! Seems to be a decent value and is very sharp looking. Nice and quiet at the lower settings. A bit noisy on high, but not unexpected. Don’t love the light location, back against the wall. Tempted to remove a star for that, but at this price point, ... it's fine. Removing all the blue protective film from the baffles was annoying, but what can you do? This thing is fancy! It even has a remote control! I love that you can change the fan speeds and the light intensity with a simple touch. It took a bit to install it and I had to get a reducer for the duct because previously we had 7" and this was 6". It is very quiet and you can have a conversation with it on, which was next to impossible with my old vent hood. I really like this. Be prepared to have a way to support it as you are screwing it into the wall. It is heavy. I used 2x 4's on either side to hold it up as I screwed it to the wall and cabinet.. Lora. US. I love my Proline 30 1000 CFM ducted wall mount range hood in brushed stainless steel. I have been a restaurant owner for 30 years and know the necessity of a good hood system. I havent been so lucky in my house. Ive only ever had an over the range microwave fan system. When our house flooded I had the opportunity to upgrade our kitchen and I jumped on getting a real hood for my range. It has been amazing! I absolutely love it, it has been installed for just over three months. I use it almost every single time I turn on my stove range. It is quiet enough for home use and extremely strong. It pulls all of the smoke, steam, and smell smells from the air efficiently, without sucking the air-conditioning out of the whole house.
