With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. Super cute, my toddler was so excited. Took about 2.5 hours to build. Downside is the casters had to be left off or the drawers are too high to properly close all the way. Wish the support beams came with a few additional pieces so my husband and I felt more secure when laying in it with him to put him to sleep but overall sturdy enough. We also had to buy corner cushions for the pieces by the stairs because they are pretty sharp and my toddler slipped on the stairs and got a small cut by his eye when he hit the rails by the steps.. This standard bed brings a traditional, rustic style to your child's bedroom or guest room. The headboard and footboard feature panel detailing for a classic look that works in farmhouse and mid-century-inspired styles. The bed frame is nice and what I was looking for however would have given it 5 stars but all the hardware was missing from the box to actually set it up. Called and now have to wait 1 week before hardware is delivered so I can set up the frame. Very frustrating and not a good experience especially since I have to sleep on the couch since old bed frame was already tossed. Anna. Weston, FL. Wed Nov 05 2025
