(The M8 sizes included were were an M8-40 for curved TV and short M8-15 that can’t possibly get depth needed after going through bracket mount, bracket hooks, washer, and indented female thread space.) Nothing a trip to Lowe’s can’t handle, but whoever thought the M8-10 could thread anything never mounted a TV. NOTE on the legs - WIDTH 28” - solid but be aware of the width to fit under a large console. My wide BDI has midpoint legswheels and unfortunately they align perfectly w the stand’s legs, so I can’t tuck TV under and close to the console without offsetting it from center. This TV console seems sturdy, has good storage, and is the perfect size. Yes, it is a laminate over particle board, but the finish looks nice. I think it’s a good value for the price. It does take a little while to assemble, but it wasn’t bad. My advice to anyone else is to make sure you put a level on it and use your leg adjusters to get it perfectly level before you put the back on to make sure you build it square. That may be why I saw some reviewers saying they couldn’t get the doors quite right. I will say the handles that came with the unit were not a good color. They were practically orange, not champagne bronze-ish like I thought from the photos on the website. Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. HOWEVER, right side panel did not install flush to the front by about 1/32", which was enough to cause the back panel to not slide into the grooves. Upon removing the styrofoam layer designed for protection, I found that several panels had been broken. Very disappointing, as I was excited about my purchase. Update The manufacturer was very helpful in getting me a replacement dresser. They sent me a brand new one at no extra cost, and the shipping was swift.
