Exactly what Ive been looking for.. Katie. Chapel Hill, NC. Sun Aug 30 2026

This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

The pet gate offers a stylish way to keep your furry friend in safe areas of your home. This indoor dog barrier features a freestanding design that allows for easy installation in the hallway or doorway.

Love it! Tall, the feet keep it in place. My puppy isn’t able to knock it over. Sturdy and heavy. It looks good in the house too!. Rebecca. Parkesburg, PA. Thu Oct 15 2026

Is your furry four-legged friend causing chaos around the house while you’re out? Keep them confined to one room with this must-have pet gate! Crafted from manufactured wood, it features four panels with hinges so it can easily fold up for a simple storage solution when not in use. Plus, it has two support legs so it can stand freely without damaging your walls. And with neutral coloring, it won’t clash with your current color palette.

Attractive and Durable, but Needs Securing I've used this gate since December 2023, and it has held up well. It's attractive, heavy, and true to size, and I really appreciate the height. The included support feet are a nice option, although I don't use them. My main complaint is that my dogs can push the gate to the side unless I secure it with carabiners. With that workaround, it serves its purpose. Overall, I'm happy with its appearance and durability, and I prefer it to a typical utilitarian-looking pet gate.. Sims Family Reviews. Kansas. The Position and Lock Gate helps parents keep their children safe from common household dangers. Not only is this classic pressure mount gate easy to install, but it also helps prevent damage to your home because no hardware is required. Also, the locking bar is marked and notched for easy installation and re-installation. Finally, the sturdy wood frame and plastic mesh are durable and secure leaving you with a feeling of assurance that your child is away from harm.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the gates and how they fit for the area I needed them. Thanks.. Janet. Maryville, TN. Fri Jul 19 2019

Safe & Flexible Play Space for Kids! This solid pine foldable baby playpen features a secure lock and 360°adjustable panels - just rotate the connectors to change shapes. Made of smooth, splinter-free pine, playpen is ready to use right out of the box. The sturdy build lasts for years, while pegboard panels encourage creative play. Folds flat for easy storage. A must-have nursery item that grows with your child!

This enclosure feels very sturdy and well made. The wooden panels are a bit heavy, but the quality is great, and I really like that every panel has its own lockunlock mechanism. My biggest issue is the small door. It’s especially inconvenient when you’re carrying a baby because you really can’t open and walk through it easily, so I usually end up climbing over the enclosure instead. I also think some of the activity panels needed more thought in terms of how useful they actually are for babies. The panel with all the small holes doesn’t seem very practical since many of the pieces that could be used with it would be choking hazards. The magnetic activity wall was also disappointing. The wall itself isn’t magnetic it just has a few small gray magnets where the included figures attach. Overall, the enclosure itself is beautiful, sturdy, and very well constructed, but I think the door design and baby activity panels could definitely be improved.. Angeline. US. Mon Sep 14 2026

This Extra Tall and Extra Wide Outdoor Retractable Gate includes components for easy installation: sided tapes, catch mounts, wall spacer shims for the baseboards, and installation guides.

This retractable gate is the perfect solution for our multi-generational home! We have young, energetic dogs that can be too much for my mom to handle. So we got one of the big, clunky gates to keep them downstairs. Unfortunately, it was too hard for my mom to open and close and made her feel trapped. This one is so light that she has no problem. So we can keep our dogs with us and not bothering her, and she can still join us when she wants to without having to call for someone to let her downstairs.. Tracy K. Pennsylvania. Thu Sep 17 2026

The Cardinal Gates Auto-Lock Gate, certified by the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA), is the perfect choice for ensuring the safety of both children and pets. Designed for ease of use and durability, it features a patented latch system that allows for quick, effortless access in either direction—simply pull and twist to open, and swing the gate shut to close. Constructed from robust aluminum with a powder-coated finish, this gate offers a long-lasting, easy-to-clean surface that stands up to daily use. It is compatible with Cardinal Gates BX1 and BX2 extensions, providing additional versatility. It seamlessly integrates into any home decor while maintaining superior functionality, available in White and Black.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. We now own 5 of these gates which we use to keep our dog restricted to certain areas of the house. The features we like best are that you can install it on either side of the doorway, the gate swings both ways, and you can install it above the floor, if desired. This works out perfectly for our cats, who are able to slip under the gate (mounted 6 inches above the floor). The dogs are not able to follow. Also, the gate is very sturdy and strong and not an eyesore. Finally, unlike a pressure-mounted gate, there is no bottom support bar to trip over.. Nina. Lawrenceville, GA. Thu Jul 30 2026

The Cardinal Gates Step Over Pet Gate is the perfect solution for small pet containment. This freestanding gate has bar spacing's of 2.25” and is designed for small breeds, non-jumpers, and puppies. At 20" tall, this gate is the perfect height for you to step over, yet keeps your pet contained. It is adjustable and able to close off openings from 28" to 51.75”. Multiple 22” extension panels can be added to increase the maximum width of this gate (model SGX, sold separately). It features solid wood construction and is easy to set up with minimal assembly necessary. The included rubber-bottomed feet protect your floors while adding stability. This gate is intended for indoor use only and all necessary assembly hardware is included in the box, no wall mounting necessary. Available in Natural, Walnut, and White.

READ ME! I was a little stumped by the assembly of this gate, but once I figured it out (with NO help to the included instructions or video), I really do like it. Upon receipt when you unscrew the two main pieces of the gate, keep an eye out for 4 small square nuts that may fall out of the grooves. After you determine the size needed, these nuts are essential to hold the two gate pieces together. The video and instructions make it seem like you just simply fasten the screws into the grooves on top and bottom. Well, you do, but if you screw only into the grooves - without the square nuts - there is nothing to catch the screws, and thus, you will be unsuccessful. If you are luckier than me, and your nuts don't fall out of the grooves and go missing for a few days, you need to know that the nuts can be moved back and forth inside the grooves depending on the size you want. Use these nuts to secure your screws, and you'll be golden! I have two small dogs (up to 9 pounds each), and I chose this gate because it is adjustable to any size you wish, and it has feet (rather than needing to be secured to a wall). The feet can be placed along the bottom at any desired location (or you can opt not to use them at all). I chose to screw them in the bottom (but you don't need to) because it gave my gate added stability, and seeing how I plan to move the gate to other locations, this way I don't have to worry about the legs falling off during the moves. The feet have rubber pads at the bottom which help them stay in place on the hard floor. If you're looking for a gate where you wish to increase/decrease the size often to let dogs through, this isn't the gate for you as that would be a bit cumbersome with screwing/unscrewing; however, if you want a gate that sits at a certain size and can be stepped over or easily moved, this is perfect! I am 5'4" and can easily step over the gate, but my small dogs cannot get over/through it. I hope this review helps!. Theresa. Sun Prairie, WI. Fri Dec 06 2019
