It took me a long time to find a medium height cabinet for an alcove in my foyer.Im pretty happy with this. I was nervous with all the reviews that it was hard to put together and that the doors dont close. It took less than 2 hours and if your doors dont close its likely you installed them upside down (as we did the first time). My only minor complaint is the color is more yellow-toned than depicted. OK I LOVED THE PIECE ONCE IT WAS ASSEMBLED. However the assembly was a bit rough. It is definitely easier with two people. The back is a challenge without two people, due to having to align and then put the top on before the back pieces are secure... A couple of pieces that needed to be assembled were left off the directions. I know right WHY/HOW? There are however enough pictures that once you realize you are missing something, haven't lost your mind, refer to the pictures and directions several times the fog clears and you realize what needs to be done. The back is not a solid piece of wood. It's the flimsy backing kind. That was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker. It doesn't seem to affect the sturdiness of the piece. One of the four cabinet drawers didn't fit perfect but little work and it closed easily. After the assembly was done, I loved it. The perfect piece to my room. I included pics of the front, in the room, as well as the depth of the cabinets. I also wanted to show the back of the cabinet after assembled, it looks pretty good.
