This is an absolutely gorgeous piece—truly more like a piece of artwork than just a cabinet. The detail on the doors is even more beautiful in person photos really don’t do it justice. It feels very sturdy and well made, and there is a surprising amount of storage inside. Ours came preassembled, which was a huge plus. That said, it is quite large and heavy, so I’m very glad I selected in-room delivery. For scale, I’m using this in a 14x14 dining room, and the 72” length fits perfectly centered along one wall without overwhelming the space. There's a lot to like about this 59" Sideboard. The Mid-century modern vibe is on-point and the storage space is excellent. The gold finish legs are a nice touch. Its really pretty in person. Assembly was fairly straight-forward up until the cabinet door installation. That was a frustrating endeavor! It took multiple steps to adjust the doors, and I'm still not happy with how they close. This piece has some curves in it in the design in front that I wasn’t expecting. It is solid wood. Each compartment is shut off from the next, even on the side with both doors that open. It is a pretty imposing piece. I did measure the space. I wish there were dimensions of the height of the shelves provided - some items I had hoped to fit, don’t. If you're in a rush to receive, this isn't the cabinet for you. It took a little over one month from order to deliver and tracking details were subpar. The cabinet was packaged well and is solid/heavy. The finish is much more white washed than anticipated as shown in the manufacturer's photo, so I decided to stain it a darker color. After staining, overall pleased, especially since the brass/gold feet and handles blend better than with the white-washed finish (in my opinion)! Beware: staining took about one week. I ordered this as a workspace for my multi-purpose guest room. The cabinets below give me space for extra linens on one side, music and art supplies on the other. It's a pretty piece and the quality is very good with beautiful wood grain. My only complaint is that it scratched when I put a sharp rough wooden box on it. My other Wayfair pieces are very durable (I have 8 other wooden Wayfair pieces) so this surprised me a bit. Bees Wax and furniture crayons have not totally repaired the scratch. There’s plenty of room to keep things organized and out of sight, which was exactly what we needed. The handles are more of a rose gold tone than I expected, so they stand out a bit against the lighter wood. That said, I think it’s something I’ll get used to over time and it does add a bit of warmth. It’s not real wood, but the finish looks very convincing unless you’re right up close. Really nice sideboard, especially for such a low price! My expectations weren’t high, but the size and look were perfect so I took a chance. I bought the black version and as others have said, don’t expect the door fronts to have a beautiful golden glow as pictured in the listing. Depending on the light in the room, it goes from a dark brownish black to a lighter brownish bronze. This is the only reason for 4 stars. Wayfair should show a better depiction of the actual door color. With that said, it’s an elegant piece with a good amount of open storage.
