I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues. I so much LOVE My new Farmhouse Dresser! I just got assembly completed and the process was straight forward and actually simple to assemble. Easy to understand with the instruction booklet. This Dresser is VERY ATTRACTIVE to look at. Once assembled the Dresser is very very solid and heavy. The 6 Drawers are just like it says in the description. They are very very spacious. Which is a huge plus for me! Definitely did not expect them to be as roomy as they are. I also love the THICK wooden top. The smooth wood grain on the top of the Farmhouse Dresser really added ALOT to the over all beauty and high quality of this Dresser. Also, I chose not to add on the two black metal pieces of hardware that came with the Dresser to keep the Dresser from being tipped over I'm assuming. I don't have any Kids in my home to worry about that happening. But I would also HIGHLY RECOMMEND anybody that does have small children please use this hardware on each side of the front of dresser to avoid an accident.
