This set has potential but a couple of things that made us return it. The frame is metal pipes , so very little to no wood , but that’s not a huge issue. The metal is well wrapped in foam. The problem are 1. The asssembly is extensive , a lot of nuts bolts to deal with . 2. The cushions are velvet but are shipped shoved into various nooks n crannies and are extremely compressed crushing and creasing the velvet that doesn’t recover 3. Assembly was pretty straightforward, and it feels sturdy once put together. The cushions are on the firmer side at first, but they’ve started to soften up with use. I also appreciate that it doesn’t take up an overwhelming amount of space while still feeling roomy enough to sit comfortably.
