I loveeeee this chess set so much. I have noticed a few scratches though. Not sure how to prevent this considering I’ve been treating it like a newborn baby. Would give it 5 star if it wasn’t for that part. Just got it like a week ago so I’m hoping that the scratches don’t get any worse.. Nancy. Tampa, FL. Mon May 27 2019

Motion is added to an otherwise still game with the board's concave landscape that supports freely moving, weighted, playing pieces. This prize-winning chess set is made of beautifully polished maple and walnut wood and detailed with accents of chrome for a modern aesthetic.

Bought as an office piece. Looks great, fine to play on despite the wobble. From a few other comments, I was concerned that the light pieces would not be different enough in color than the dark, but that is not the case — there is an easy contrast between the two. . Richard. For the ultimate chess-playing experience, we have developed a chess set that is larger than life! Standing at 16 inches tall, the big, but not huge, pieces included in this set are designed to be indestructible, making them perfect for outdoor settings, as well as commercial settings in which they are likely to be used by scores of people. The pieces are very light, weighing about 8 to 17 ounces each, which enables them to be easily moved by young children. They have the ability to be made heavier as well. Simply drill a hole at the bottom of each piece, fill it with fine sand, and seal it back up with adhesive. These chess pieces are designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. We have set in the heat of the Middle East, the humidity of the Far East, the cold of the Rocky Mountains, and the sun, sand, and salty air of Southern California.

This is so fun during th summer.. Josie. Mon Apr 20 2026

This table in cherry walnut does not look like the photos, it is much more orange than cherry. It also does NOT come with any game pieces. I am using my pieces from another chess set. Both should be better explained in the description. Otherwise it seems to be a sturdy piece. I wish I ordered it in black but I will keep this one.. Andrea. Califon, NJ. Fri Jul 10 2026

A fun game for any occasion, the four-in-a-row is perfect for all ages. With a metal-plated finish and frosted playing pieces, this elevated twist on the classic game also doubles as a unique piece of decor to display in your home. Modern brass metal finish and frosted playing pieces create an eye-catching look on any table or counter space. The metal wire stopper keeps pieces and place and provides a simple, and decorative design.

I really love the look of this game set. The design fits perfectly with my living room decor, which was honestly the main reason I purchased it. It has a much more polished and decorative look than the traditional version, so I’m happy to leave it out as part of the room. My only complaint is the way the pieces are removed after each game. Unlike the original game this is modeled after, there isn’t a release lever at the bottom, so you have to manually tip or dump the pieces out before setting it back up again. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make resetting the game a little less convenient. Overall, I’m still happy with it because the aesthetic is exactly what I wanted.. Daynell. Dallas, TX. Overall, a wonderful gaming table that works great in the space and gives us what we were looking for! Only gave 4 because of the building process. Holes were misaligned and the metal brackets that attached to the legs did not fit. We had to use brute strength, tools, and ask for Gaston to come and help with his muscles just to get it to fit. Otherwise, it's a beauty!. Elyse. Indianapolis, IN. Wed Sep 16 2026

The perfect home accessory for offering a cerebral challenge, this mini chess set from Mexico is presented by the Sierra Family. The artisans work with onyx and marble, diligently hand-carving each tile and chess piece to display natural hues of pink and ivory. The chess set's petite size makes it the perfect home accessory for any space.

Miniature set omits to say it’s “mini” in the title. It does give the dimensions down in the description with some searching. Pictures of chess board should show it next to another object so you can clearly see its size. Not sure I would’ve purchased this for my daughter’s home if I’d known it was small. But maybe that’s the intention of omission. Luckily she likes it. Good quality. Super cute.. Brenda. Edgewater, FL. Mon Dec 25 2023
