The Cherub Sky Round Chandelier Ceiling Medallion 24-inch diameter is a favorite sized fully assembled and intricately finished Ceiling Medallion. This Timeless Creation offers an Old-World Elegance creating instant 3-dimensional detail to an otherwise boring plain ceiling. Or crown an elegant chandelier with the medallion. Adding a medallion when changing a light fixture is often a good time to consider this decorative accent. The item comes fully finished out of the package and is Hand Cast in a lightweight Polystyrene that will never shrink, split, or crack. Prior to Masterpiece Moldings' creation of this Collection by AFD Home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists. One of the best parts about this item is that installation could not have been made easier, as the outer ring is created with a cabochon design allowing intermittent spaces specifically created as locations for your screws or hollow wall anchors, matching decorative caps are even provided that will cover the screw heads of your anchors and offer a complete professional looking install. Hollow wall anchors or installation screws are available at your local hardware store, as your need will vary depending on your ceiling.
It is a beautiful picture, it is larger than I expected beautiful copy of those old ceiling medallion that you see in old mansions, yet it is lightweight comes with screws and those little tips to cover screws, very thoughtful , very happy with it, highly recommend.
